Welcome to Episode 1.
This is a free, story-driven online escape game where every puzzle unlocks the next chapter of the adventure.
Good luck!
For the past several years, you've worked at The Starlight Lounge, a small spaceport bar tucked inside one of the busiest stations in the galaxy. Every day is nearly identical. Travelers from every corner of the universe stop in for a meal or a drink before continuing on to their next destination while you stay behind, cleaning tables, mopping floors, and listening to stories about worlds you'll probably never see.
You've always dreamed of leaving the station yourself. Seeing strange planets, meeting new civilizations, and exploring the galaxy instead of hearing about it from passing travelers. But dreams don't pay the bills, and your boss always reminds you that there's plenty of work waiting tomorrow.
Tonight is no different.
After another long shift, your boss finally sends you home. Before leaving, you decide to sit down with a drink and enjoy a few quiet minutes while the lounge empties out.
Just as you begin to relax, the front door slides open.
A small alien you've never seen before cautiously steps inside. He looks around the nearly empty lounge before noticing you're the only person left.
He smiles, walks over to your table, and slides the menu toward you.
"Excuse me... I've never been here before."
"Do you have any recommendations?"
Before you can answer, he adds:
"I'm allergic to Asteroid Root."
"I don't really enjoy Citrix."
"I always order something with Zepta Leaf when I can."
"And after a long trip, I'd really like something cold."
What drink would you recommend?
The alien takes a sip and smiles.
“Now that is a good drink.”
The two of you spend the next hour talking. He tells you about some of the planets he's visited and all the strange things he's seen along the way.
Eventually, he reaches into his backpack.
“Actually... I just got back from one of my favorite trips.”
A stack of photographs slips from his hands and scatters across the table.
“Looks like they got all mixed up. Mind helping me put them back in order?”
What happened right before he left?
He smiles.
“Thanks. You know... everyone should travel at least once.”
He pauses for a moment before grinning.
“Tell you what... why don't you come with me? We'll visit a few planets and have you back before your next shift.”
The offer is too good to pass up.
The alien reaches into his pocket and sets a large ring of keys on the table.
“One small problem... I can never remember which one opens my ship.”
Which key goes to the ship?
